CAA Niagara’s Big Food Boost Pledge is hard at work, driving positive change in the community. One significant way this is happening is through the bulk purchase of food to stock the shelves of FEED Niagara’s 10 affiliate agencies that tirelessly serve the Niagara Region. FEED Niagara has a knack for maximizing funds, purchasing large quantities, and leveraging special agreements to ensure every dollar goes a long way. This means more meals for those facing food insecurity. The food purchased through the Big Food Boost Pledge includes perishable items like milk, eggs, and meats, supplementing each agency’s supply of non-perishable canned and boxed donations. Providing not just groceries, but the makings of nutritious meals. One of the most significant indicators of the need for such initiatives is the rising use of food banks in the region. CAA Niagara’s ongoing commitment ensures a steady supply of resources, enabling FEED Niagara to navigate the ebb and flow of challenges that our neighbours face. A testament to a shared belief in the power of community, compassion and making a lasting difference.
